Former UFC Champ Sean Strickland has been suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission for rushing the cage in early June during a Tuff-N-Uff and "attacked a fighter." If you watch the video however, he was just standing up for his friend and he was being taunted at by Luis Hernandez who was taunting Sean and his friend Chris Curtis the whole time. By "attacked" he landed one punch on Luis before being separated. Luis even stated afterwards that he wants no charges pressed and that he hopes nothing happens to Sean. This is only a temporary suspension and is expected to be extended at the next commission hearing which is scheduled for Wednesday. He is unable to compete in UFC during this time. If you think about it tho it is really not that serious as it was not even a major event and he didn't even land the punch. The Nevada Athletic Commission has a history of suspending fighters for stupid reasons, including when Nick Diaz was originally suspended for 5 years for possession of marijuana. Even tho the UFC deemed it as a legal drug. This is costing Strickland is paychecks and how he makes money. Please sign this petition to help Sean get out of this.
