2004 at the age of 20 Ronnie Robinson was arrested and sentence to 30 years  by Daniel Perry a Tampa Florida Court room judge for a drug trafficking in cocaine (28-200) 893.135(1)(b) after exercising his constitutional right to trial after rejecting a 3-year plea offer by the state . Within Robinson's incarceration he filed a number of appeals one of witch was a newly evidence claim found and filed by an attorney. The newly discovered evidence presented a number of internal affairs documents leading the to the termination of the lead arresting officer Matthew Dolitsky who arrested Robinson and was the only officer at the scene to testified against Robinson at trial. Documents revealed:

1) Dolitsky use his position of authority to solicit sexual favors from the people he was entrusted to protect

2) paid for the performance of sexual acts by providing cocaine or money

3) committed perjury during a deposition wherein he lied about his relationship with one of the females with whom he had sex 

4) possessed and delivered cocaine in violation of fl law

5) committed the offense of solicitation of prostitution 

6) committed perjury in an official preceding

7) other allegations that he threatened his fellow officer with his firearm

Robinson motion was denied as untimely and he currently serves a 30 year sentence for  non violent victimless crime away from his family  wail the cop was given probation . Robinson has served 20 of the 30 year sentence his first and only time being sent to prison  . Robinson sentence is cruel and vindictive the Court never stating why it went from a  3 years plea offer to  30 year maximum sentence and if Robinson was of another race Robinson would not have been given the maximum sentence for the lowest trafficking charge on the crime scale . Through the years , cartels having been convicted of moving tons of cocaine and has been given less time then Robinson who was accused of being in possession of 180 gram. . Child molesters ,rapist and even murderers have received less time 

The change of Robinson 30 year sentence to time served is not only a correction of a unjust cruel and vindictive sentence but the ideal of what is morally right!
