The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) Chief Executive, Julie Harrington says she is “concerned” about recently-released footage of Princess Latifa explaining her hostage situation.

In videos released by the #FreeLatifa campaign, Latifa explains her imprisonment on the orders of her father, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also owner of the Godolphin global horse racing stable.

BHA rules include a ‘fit and proper persons’ test for racehorse owners, which includes being able to investigate and ban owners that do not meet the standard.
