Free Palestine End Zionism Arrest Netanyahu & Gallant

Free Palestine End Zionism Arrest Netanyahu & Gallant
The issue
As someone deeply moved by the words of Nelson Mandela and Malcolm X, it is unnerving to hear top figures in the Israeli government speak in such destructive terms. Between 1975 and 1991, the UN General Assembly Resolution 3379 stated that "Zionism is a form of racism". Even back then, we acknowledged the horrific implications of such ideologies. Today, Defence Minister Gallant's statements about depriving the population in the occupied territory of food and electricity - actions that amount to collective punishment and war crimes - makes it clear that this barbarity still thrives.
To hear the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, explicitly stating their intent to continue the war is gut-wrenching. There can be no peace or humanity when leaders are committed to sustaining conflict and suffering. Omar Shakir, Israel and Palestine Director at Human Rights Watch, has rightly said that the International Criminal Court should pay attention to this call to commit a war crime.
We urge the International Criminal Court to action the arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant as per their statements and actions. Evidence points to their roles in war crimes and it is time that they are held accountable. Sign this petition today and support our call for justice and humanity in Israel and Palestine.
