Nepal being a multi lingual but the dominance of khas/gorkha/parbate nepali language country, has state biasness on other mother tongues. Recently Nepal police detained two citizens for speaking Newa language inside Balaju police station. We demand with Nepal Government for the immidiate unconditional realese with honor of those activist raised voice for their citizen rights and to take action against the police officals involved to stop activist, abusing the right to speak and use their mother tongue on government body.

ts been a long struggle of the indigenous people from an autocratic rana regime till the country became republic for their linguistic and indigenous rights, but none of the government are liberal enough to compensate the loss and opperession over the indigenous people's concern and demand.
