When my husband was just 18 years old, he was sentenced to life without parole for a crime he did not commit. Accused of first-degree felony murder, the only evidence presented against him was the testimony from his co-defendant, who implicated my husband in exchange for a lesser sentence. There was no physical evidence, no DNA, and nothing concrete pointing to my husband's guilt.
