A few weeks ago, my goal was to have 1,000 signatures in support of my daughter, Monique and her partner, Larissa. Today, over 140,000 people from around the world are asking President Obama and the US government to do everything they can to secure the release of Monique and Larissa from prison in Kuwait. I am so thankful and can hardly explain how much I appreciate your support. It’s been over a month since Monique and Larissa were unjustly sentenced to 20-25 years in prison, and this is completely unacceptable. Months after Monique and Larissa were detained in May, I was able to get in contact with the US Embassy in Kuwait, but they told me they didn’t want to get involved. The embassy said they would check in on the girls every other month, but they haven’t. They told me they know nothing about the sentencing. Please take a moment to ask the US Embassy in Kuwait to help Monique and Larissa.
