As the cornerstone of grassroots judo and the foundation for all judo, recreational and competative alike, British Judo coaches fund their own licenses, pay to maintain them, build up clubs, recruit members, and grade these members.

All the British Judo membership and grading fees generated by British Judo coaches go directly to the British Judo Association Ltd Head Office.

The dedication of these coaches yields almost £2 million-pounds of income annually for the British Judo Association Ltd.

In light of this significant contribution, it's time that the BJA lives up to their promise of abiding by core Judo values!

We call upon the BJA CEO, Andrew Scoular, the BJA Chair, Gerry Gaultieri and the BJA Board of Directors to grant free membership to British Judo coaches who relentlessly work to uphold the sport and create a sustainable future for judo.

The cost of free membership for British Judo Coaches is approx £50,000.
