In FISD School lunches were free, until this August. Many kids, or teens get lunch from school because its provided by the school, or they don't have time to make it at home. But what happened this year is now, for all lunches, you have to pay. And some people don't, or can't buy lunches all week and waste a good 15$ dollars or more for the whole week of just, FOOD! That's 600$ in a year, or more!

Parents have to separately take out some of their income just so what? They can eat some crackers and milk for 3 dollars? I don't think that's really fair saying that they already have to pay the bills, and rent, let alone lunch!

If lunches become free again, many kids can improve their grades, behavior, and attitude just by eating some veggies and carbs! For example, my lunch is right before P.E and personally, I need some food for my body to work! But a lot of the time's I forget to bring my lunch from home and get quickly tired in P.E.

Alot of kids can probably relate to this since food gives us energy and without it, our bodies can't function properly without the needed energy!

A lot of kids stay hungry at lunch and don't eat until they get home, just because they can't get free lunch. This has became a problem for a lot of kids who can't pay for lunch. Stand with me and sign this petition to change the world for the better!
