This Petition has stood the test of time. This petition has been validated and significant grievances have been brought forward by Citizens of the world including over 200,000 Citizens of the USA, who are signatories to this petition. This is the largest petition to have been tabled in both houses of the Australian Parliament. This petition includes the signatures of over 260,000 Australian Citizens and including that of the Prime Minister of Australia Mr Anthony Albanese.
Citizen of the USA who are Signatories to this petition (over 200,000 signed on) claim legitimate rights under the USA Constitution to petition the government of the USA. As enumerated in the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, which specifically prohibits Congress from abridging "the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances”. The Persecution of Julian Assange is a grievance that can only be resolved by the President of the USA by dropping the extradition case against Julian Assange and immediately freeing Julian Assange.
