(Edited 18:35 Brisbane Time 15-9-2023) Hi All, I hope you are all well. The Bring Assange Home Parliamentary Group has grown from 11 members at its inauguration and now it is 64 members of currently sitting parliamentarians in Australia+ the (Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese's signature in this petition).
Note every parliament in South America has modelled their own Free Julian Assange Parliamentary Group on Australia's. Also I believe every Western European nation also has a Free Julian Assange Parliamentary Group as well. I believe the largest one is the Greek Parliament's Free Julian Assange parliamentary group of which their are around 100 current politicians that are members.
I love to recall that on the before leading up to the inauguration of the Australian Bring Assange Home Parliamentary Group back in 2019, Senator Peter Whish-Wilson (Greens) Office contacted me to ask if Peter Whish-Wilson could Table this petition in the Australian Senate and then the Parliamentary Group was inaugurated the next day. From there it has grown in governments' literally all around the world.
For Australian Citizens please take particular notice to the names of politicians whose signatures and names are on and not on document attached (from the Bring Assange Home Parliamentary Group). For example in my case my local Member is Henry Pike MP (Bowman QLD) and he has not signed nor is his name not on this document. I will ask him why?
Basically, If your Australian politician's names are not on board on this campaign then I believe they are not good politicians. Australian politicians of all political persuasion who are in government and do nothing in this critically important campaign are counter productive to Australia and Australians. These politicians who are not signatories have displayed characteristics that will not help you or your family members or eminent Australians for that matter, if and when we may be getting tortured to death by a foreign power, for simply doing the right thing in the public interest.
Support for Freedom of Julian Assange is over 80% in Australia on any polling. That kind of polling result indicates it is across the political spectrum and with this petition's potential daily distribution of approx. 300,000 Australian Citizens we can all now rest assured that this distribution network can and will name those that have done zero to free Julian Assange, because over 80% of Australians want him free.
We are now extremely powerful and we are exercising our democratic power.
We will never relent, because Freedom of Julian Assange is our line in the sand. Stop the extradition and let us get on. Continue to incarcerate Julian Assange and Australia will move away from the USA, just like a tectonic plate moves on immense force. DEMOCRATIC POWER!
I get inspiration from a great song by Paul Kelly "From Little things big things grow" Have a listen as we prepare to enter the USA political infrastructure.
Cheers and Share, reshare, Tweet and retweet this Mother of All Petitions (thanks George Galoway for the title that I have ripped off.

"As Australian Parliamentarians, in support of our colleagues’ delegation to the United States in September 2023, we are resolutely of the view that the prosecution and incarceration of the Australian citizen Julian Assange must end.
Together with a large and growing number of Australians we believe it is wrong in principle for Mr Assange to be pursued under the Espionage Act (1917), and that it was a political decision to bring the prosecution in the first place. In any case, this matter has dragged on for over a decade and it is wrong for Mr Assange to be further persecuted and denied his liberty when one considers the duration and circumstances of the detention he has already suffered. It serves no purpose,
it is unjust, and we say clearly – as friends should always be honest with friends – that the prolonged pursuit of Mr Assange wears away at the substantial foundation of regard and respect that Australians have for the justice system of the United States of America.
We agree entirely with the position expressed by the Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese who said in the House of Representatives on 22 May 2023 that “enough is enough when it comes to the ongoing incarceration of Julian Assange and that nothing is served from the ongoing incarceration of Julian Assange.” We welcome the recently expressed agreement on this point from the Leader of the Opposition, and we make clear that the bipartisan leadership support for this position is matched by the wide cross-party and independent support within the Australian Parliament itself, which in turn reflects the strongly held views of the Australian community.
Let there be no doubt that if Julian Assange is removed from the United Kingdom to the United States there will a sharp and sustained outcry in Australia.
We note with gratitude the considerable support in the United States for an end to the legal pursuit of Mr Assange from members of Congress, human rights advocates, academics, and civil society, and from within the US media in defence of free speech and independent journalism. On that basis we ask Congresspeople, members of the press, and other relevant civil society stakeholders in the United States to speak up now in supporting an end to the prosecution and detention of Julian Assange.
We believe the right and best course of action would be for the United States' Department of Justice to cease its pursuit and prosecution of Julian Assange. Alternatively, a decision to simply abandon the extradition proceedings would have the sensible, just, and compassionate effect of allowing Mr Assange to go free from a prolonged and harsh period of high-security detention. It is well and truly time for this matter to end, and for Julian Assange to return home.
Yours sincerely,
The co-convenors of the Bring Julian Assange Home Parliamentary Group:"
Note I have just copied and pasted the names of the Australian politicians who are standing up to free Julian Assange. If your politician is not on the list just ask them why?
