"Journalists are waiting on the phone line for West Minister Magistrates to hold a brief hearing on Julian Assange's extradition. #Assange

The hearing has finished. The next hearing is on 29 June from 10.00 #Assange

The Judge, Vanessa Baraister, said she had hope the provide the name of the crown court that could hear #Assange extradition case today but is still waiting for confirmation

Edward Fitzgerald QC apologised that the court had not received a letter concerning the inability of Julian Assange to appear by video link

Fitzgerald said that #Assange had had respiratory problems for some time

The court dial in system does not really work for journalists. There are too many non-journalists on the line holding private conversations during the hearing #Assange

People don't mute their mobile phones despite repeated requests #Assange

The court also discussed the progress of a psychiatric report commissioned by the US before March #Assange

The prosecution's medical expert has been unable to visit #Assange in Belmarsh because of the lockdown

The prosecution told the judge that the timing of the report would depend on whether and when they could gain access to Belmarsh #Assange

Judge Vanessa Baraitser gave the prosecution a deadline of 31 July to produce the psychiatric report on #Assange

The prosecution is uncertain whether they can meet this deadline, and the matter is likely to be raised at the next hearing."
