Hello everyone,

So, I am writing this to you all in a time of need. My son Jacoby Watkins is 20 years old and he's the sweetest person you will ever meet. Unfortunately, my son was with the wrong group of friends and we need your help.

My son has a lot of great things going for himself. He has his own business called Loyalty Over Royalty Customs. he is trying to make a name for himself. My son was recently out with a friend of his he knew and trusted. They decided to go to a hookah lounge and proceed to party into the night. The friend got extremely intoxicated and violent. The friend got into an altercation with security when they tried to escort him out of the lounge .

Meanwhile my son was a witness to this whole altercation and didn’t have anything to do with the situation. He was just a stand byer like everyone else. So this friend of his decided to fight security and to pull out a gun. No one knew he had this gun on him. He shot the security guard, killing him.

In the mix of all of this my son was badly hurt as well. The friend began to flee the scene along with a female companion while my son stayed behind and was shocked as to what he had just seen. It was not at all what he expected to happen, so my son and his girlfriend went outside to wait for an uber to come and pick them up when the police came.

The police arrested my son and took him in and charged him with murder. The friend was still on the run at this point for 3 weeks but luckily he was caught by police. They identified him with police footage and it clearly showed Atlanta police that my son was not involved, had no weapon nor had any part of the violence in this altercation, he waited at the scene for police because in his mind and heart he did absolutely nothing wrong.

Fast forward to now its 3 months later and the police still have my son in custody pinning a murder charge on him for a crime he did not commit. My son has never been in any kind of trouble. It would mean the absolute world to me if anybody could pitch in and help me. That night my son was just expecting to have a nice night out to have fun he did not expect it would be his last night being a free man.

I ask anyone to help me. My son doesn’t deserve this , They have the video footage and the killer in custody. Please help in any way you can to help get my son out of jail. Please take into consideration if this was your child and how you would feel. HE IS INNOCENT!!!
