Free Iran from the Islamic government
The Issue
Hello, I am going to speak up about my country as it has been abused since 1979.
Many people, long before the Islamic Revolution, were mirthful, just, and free. Schools in Iran before the revolution were mixed-gender, which most children were happy with. All women in Iran did not have to wear a hijab unless they were Muslim. Most children who attended school were not forced to learn Arabic, merely Persian (Farsi) and, for some schools, English, French, and German. Many girls and boys were taught by male and female staff. However, 1979 ripped the joyful, carefree world apart.
After Mohamed Reza Pahlavi sadly passed away in July 1980, he ended his reign in 1979 to make way for Islamic governments to rule Iran. Since then, Iran has faced a large drop in its economy, mandatory Arabic courses, and left women without any rights. Mixed-gender schools became single-sex, meaning boys and girls are strictly segregated
Did you know that after the Islamic Revolution overthrew Pahlavi, about 532-2,000 Iranians died in the revolution's peak? After Pahlavi passed away in 1980, 25,00-40,000 Iranians were arrested and 8,000-9,000 were assassinated. 52 American diplomats were held hostage. Can you comprehend that? 52 is a large number. Well, not that large, but for people being held hostage, that is a large number! 80% of women in Iran are illiterate, whilst before the revolution there were only about 60% of illiterate women, meaning they couldn't read or write, before the revolution.
Now it's up to us to save the deteriorating country from further danger. Sign up to bring Pahlavi's son to the throne and bring back women's rights and other things today!
