Buanoi (Little Lotus) is a western low land gorilla who has been kept captive for 30 YEARS in a steel and concrete cage at the top of a shopping centre in Bangkok, Thailand. This lonely gorilla lives without a natural environment. She spends her days on a concrete floor with no sunlight, no family or stimulation. She was born in 1986 to wild parents and was captured as a baby to spend her days behind bars at Pata Zoo.
