In 1994 Gervase Johnson was wrongfully convicted of attempted murder and sentenced to life In prison. He was convicted based on the testimony of a witness whose boyfriend was found with the weapon used in the crime. The witness has since admitted she lied out of her love for her boyfriend and feels deeply remorseful for the consequences of her actions. Despite coming forward to testify and admit her wrongdoing the justice system is refusing to grant a new trial.  A mans life has been ruined because of a teenagers misguided mistake. The charge is attempted murder, even though  no one died they want a man to die in prison as a punishment. Not only is the Verdict incorrect the sentence is excessive and malignant.
