Help us turn an abandoned lot in La Mesa into a regenerative community garden!

Hello, we are petitioning to start an organic, regenerative community garden using a local lot at 7629 Normal Ave that has been abandoned for over ten years with potential to grow thousands of pounds of produce per year. We plan to practice and teach regenerative and climate friendly techniques that enrich the soil, engage local pollinators and sequester carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, as well as provide our community with free produce and vegan meals. Our petition would convince the owners of the land and the city to let us use the land for the purposes of feeding and educating locals.
