Davon Macon is a 27 year old male who spent 10 years in prison as a teenager and was recently released from prison. During his 10 years in prison, unfortunately he lost his grandfather and 45 days before he was released from prison his mother died from breast cancer. Due to the long term incarceration, Davon Macon is dealing with a lot of PTSD associated with the things that occurred while in prison. Recently, he was violated by parole due to him using drugs as a coping mechanism and instead of giving him help that he needs they are trying to send him back to prison. It is difficult for a person to come home and readjust to society after doing so much time as a child and dealing with traumatic loss. Davon needs rehabilitation not to be institutionalized.
