The Issue

David Yarde Deserves a Fair Chance at Freedom

David Yarde is a father, an artist, and a wrongfully convicted man who has spent over 12 years behind bars for a crime he did not commit.

Independent forensic evidence now confirms what David has always said: he is innocent. World-renowned pathologists, video analysts, and crime scene experts have reviewed the facts—and they agree. David Yarde was not the shooter.

This evidence remains unchallenged by the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. In fact, even current ADA Ian MacLean has admitted that David has “legitimate issues” that warrant review.

Still, David sits in prison while the system drags its feet.

We are urging the Massachusetts courts to grant David’s Motion for Stay Pending Appeal, and we ask Suffolk County DA Kevin Hayden to support that request—because David meets all three legal criteria for release:

A Home Plan & Community Support Are in Place
David has stable housing and a strong support system waiting to welcome him home—including his children, extended family, advocates, and friends.
He Is Not a Flight Risk or a Danger to the Community
David has no history of violence outside of this wrongful conviction. He has shown model behavior during his incarceration and remains focused on art, education, and healing.
Exceptional Circumstances Warrant Immediate Review
Multiple unrefuted expert reports—and newly resurfaced evidence—make it overwhelmingly likely that David will be vindicated. His case involves prosecutorial misconduct, jury taint, and forensic misrepresentation. A powerful new video breaks down the evidence and demands attention.

We, the undersigned, demand that Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden:

➡️ Support David Yarde’s Motion for Release Pending Appeal

➡️ Acknowledge the weight of the scientific evidence

➡️ Stop standing in the way of an innocent man’s freedom
