Free David Mayberry of A Wrongful Conviction!
Free David Mayberry of A Wrongful Conviction!
The Issue
My name is David Mayberry Jr. Inmate #M43526
I am a wrongfully convicted African American man who has been denied his constitutional right to DUE PROCESS OF THE LAW.
Please read and support my clemency request to pardon or commute my 155-year sentence for attempted first-degree murder. My case was handled in an illegal manner, leading to a miscarriage of justice. Reviewing my clemency petition will reveal many flaws that are all too common throughout our criminal justice system. It should cause anyone and everyone to question if our criminal justice administrators should have to qualify for immunity instead of having "absolute" immunity. Supporting my petition is vital to assure that future individuals do not suffer due to failure to investigate the facts of their cases.
The type of injustice I have endured is extremely serious! It can and has happened to all kinds of people, no matter their race, gender, or religion. Until we come together and speak up against this type of repression, our criminal justice system will not change the way it sentences us and consistently deprives us of our right to a fair trial! Unfortunately, many will not have an opportunity to show the intentional illegal actions that frequently take place which lead to gross misconduct and due process violations, as seen in my case. In an effort to shed light on these matters, I will not sit back and remain quiet and allow future generations to suffer and be destroyed by a flawed system! I ask you to take a stand and demand CHANGE along with me!
