Daniel has now spent almost 3 years wrongfully imprisoned. The Facebook Live Event will help boost his spirits by giving him a chance to connect with YOU, his supporters, while he is confined and isolated in prison.
Daniel is excited to talk with all of you during the Facebook Live Event! He knows we have more than 28,000 supporters who have signed his petition and he is incredibly thankful. All the petition comments are sent to Daniel so that he can read and enjoy them. Please keep sharing the petition so that we can try to reach 30,000 signatures by New Year’s Day!
Daniel plans to call his sister Jenny on speaker phone at 8 p.m. Central Time on January 1st. He will answer your questions that you ask Jenny through your typed comments during the Event. Jenny will read your questions and comments for Daniel and then you can hear his reply.
He will be using a phone in the "pod" (the housing area for around 40 men) inside the prison where Daniel is forced to live in protective custody due to being a police officer. You will probably hear the sound of inmates in the background as Daniel calls from the common area.
Thank you all so much for helping Daniel remember that he is never forgotten and that awareness of his wrongful conviction continues to spread across the United States and even around the world. An injustice to one truly is an injustice to all.
