(Letter dated 10/29/2018) Supporters, love ones & friends:

It’s been a while since I posted an update.  I thought the timing would be appropriate since the holidays are coming up and 20,000+ signatures!

What I’m about to say below may stir people in the wrong way since it is controversial and political.  Please understand my emphasis on certain points and how it correlates to my case.  Again, by no means am I trying to upset you as the reader and as my supporters.

This letter will be very emotional due to the fact that I want to articulate and emphasize certain areas that probably couldn’t have been understood if there wasn’t a lot of national attention/coverage.  The following will cover Judge Kavanaugh and how it ties in with my case.

I want to start off with the “power of an accusation.”  In our society now, you’re constantly seeing accusations against people in power, professional athletes and even down to the college level/high school, the list goes on.  Like I said above, I’m going to use Judge Kavanaugh as my big example.  There were accusations brought up that allegedly occurred several years ago.  All of a sudden, Judge Kavanaugh has the opportunity to be appointed to the highest court system in America.  Some people believe the first woman that came forward and some didn’t.  As time went on more women piled on.  When the investigation was said and done, it was a he said vs. she said.

Now imagine if Kavanaugh was middle class or didn’t have the political position he was in.  What if the judge didn’t have access to the media or have the understanding of a court room?  Granted, Judge Kavanaugh had access to all this and the knowledge to go with it.

What I’m trying to emphasize is if Kavanaugh was a nobody like myself there would be more pressure within media to push for an indictment.  Kavanaugh was able to address the media and be questioned.  This ultimately cleared his name and now he’s appointed to the Supreme Court.  Play the “what if” game and just ask yourself, “What if he didn’t have resources?  What if his income was less than middle class and he was struggling?  What if he wasn’t in a position of power to defend himself, and let the media run wild with misleading headlines just for rating purposes?”

I constantly see comments on the petition that go along the lines, “I thought you were guilty.  When I saw it on the news, I said he deserves it.”  Nobody really pays attention to others until it affects them.  In today’s society if media takes a hold of a case and the “accused” cannot defend himself/herself, you’re going to have a really unfair uphill battle.  From what I’ve learned from supporters on the outside that have gone to wrongful conviction conferences, you need to address the media head on.

You hear all the time how your lawyer advises you not to say anything.  That’s where I was when the media would take daily swings at me with headlines.  Is it the accused’s fault not knowing what to do and to be in total shell shock?  What people do not understand is the power and manipulation of these corrupt detectives, DA’s office, & media.  They double down betting and hoping the “accused” doesn’t say anything.  They want the news to go buck wild and spread like wildfire because it ultimately aids their case.  They are master manipulators and know the ins and outs of the courtroom.  No accusation should hold weight in any courtroom in this country!

To go further, the ones that do falsely accuse and the prosecutors/DA that do use misconduct should be held accountable.  So many times these people are given a slap on the wrist and face no legal action.  These men and women are literally coerced or spoonfed to cooperate with corrupt detectives and prosecutors, which in turn can lead them to pending charges dropped, warrants dropped, some kind of service (for example, rehab for drug use etc.), or the ultimate payout of hitting the lottery for thousands of dollars if not millions.  They look at the long run and see if things don’t go through they won’t be held accountable.

Now look at the accused.  He or she is under extreme circumstances that can’t be given back.  The accused loses their jobs, their families, their relationships, their reputation, the list goes on.  How do you recover?  The truth is there is no recovery from it and your life is at a total 180 degrees.  Your life is ruined beyond repair.

To reiterate the reason why I used Judge Kavanaugh again is because it was in the national spotlight.  People started to pile on.  The line I constantly hear, “When there is smoke there is fire.”  Now again, if he didn’t defend himself more than likely everyone would have an extreme bias against him thinking he was guilty.

Again, I cannot emphasize enough the power of the media on today’s society and how it plays into the public’s perception, thoughts, beliefs etc.  The media has changed so much throughout my life where people are scared to say something about race, religion, sex etc.  Everyone is scared of the backlash and not being “politically correct.”  It’s playing a huge effect on people’s lives.  It affected my life!  My case had so much more than Judge Kavanaugh was going through!  I was in the eye of the storm.  I may be preaching to my supporters, but if this letter comes across someone that believes I’m guilty, I challenge you to research my case inside and out.

Also, I would like to thank all the supporters out there for all your love and fight.  I’ve said this before, but you guys are keeping my story alive which keeps me alive!  We’ve come a long way and I encourage everyone to continue to spread the word of my case.  Not one day have I lost faith or lost the will to continue to fight.  Even throughout all the hardship and extreme circumstances I never ever want anyone to feel sorry for me or have sympathy.  That won’t change anything.

I ask that you grasp and understand what I’m trying to get across.  As we continue to educate and spread the word it will ultimately lead to resolution.  Changes will be made and I pray for that day to come!  Understand that this can happen to you regardless of your race and sex.  Again, thank you everyone for the on-going support!!!

NEVER STOP TRYING.  NEVER STOP BELIEVING.  NEVER GIVE UP.  YOUR DAY WILL COME!!!
