Please join us at the FREE SCREENING of CRTV.com’s newest MICHELLE MALKIN INVESTIGATES episode entitled “RAILROADED: SURVIVING WRONGFUL CONVICTIONS,” featuring DANIEL HOLTZCLAW’S CASE, on Saturday, September 9th, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the Central National Bank Center, 301 S. Independence Ave. in Enid, Oklahoma. Doors will open at 10:00 a.m., first come first serve. MICHELLE MALKIN will be at the event. Law enforcement officers from across the country are also flying in to show their public support for Daniel. Following the show, there will be a PANEL DISCUSSION and Q&A at 11:30 a.m. with former law enforcement officers and exonerees BRIAN FRANKLIN and RAY SPENCER, the DANIEL HOLTZCLAW FAMILY, and other special guests. Brian Franklin and Ray Spencer, like Daniel Holtzclaw, went through the ordeal of being falsely accused, tried, and falsely convicted of sexual crimes. Both were exonerated and have voiced their public support for Daniel. After the panel and Q&A, a barbecue get-together and fundraiser for Daniel Holtzclaw’s legal defense fund will take place at 12:30 p.m. at Simpson’s Old Time Museum at 228 E. Randolph Ave, Enid, OK. Michelle Malkin spoke recently on the Pat Campbell Show in Tulsa, OK, about the debut of her new episode on the Holtzclaw case. You can listen to the podcast here: http://www.1170kfaq.com/shows/pat-campbell/pat-campbell-podcast/michelle-malkin-on-debuting-new-show-on-holtzclaw-case Ms. Malkin says, “It is a piece that I feel is incredibly important because it sets Daniel Holtzclaw’s case in the larger national context of wrongful convictions in this country.” She explains the significance of the Sept. 9th screening: “This is an incredible milestone. I met the Holtzclaw family for the first time on Sept. 9th, the exact same day a year ago, to interview them for the two-part series that debuted actually on the one-year anniversary of Daniel’s convictions, Dec. 10th, of last year. So much has happened in the year since, and it really has changed my life. I’ve met so many incredible people who are dedicated to true justice.” Ms. Malkin continues, “We’re hoping that anyone who actually cares for or mouths the words ‘criminal justice reform’ will pay attention here because I have said […] since I first started talking about this last December when our first 2-part series came out and really cracked wide open all of the problems and flaws – fatal flaws – with the case that IT IS THE WORST MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE I’VE EVER COVERED IN MY 25 PLUS YEAR CAREER.” “I think that there is a groundswell now. There really has been a sea change in the way that people have perceived this case, I think probably most notably because of all the secrecy in the case,” says Ms. Malkin. “I think the more independent eyeballs that have looked at this that the clearer it is how wronged and railroaded Daniel was. I really do believe that the light is at the end of the tunnel. I’m not going to stop covering this story until Daniel Holtzclaw is free.” Please come to this exciting screening to learn more about the wrongful convictions of Daniel Holtzclaw, Brian Franklin, Ray Spencer and others who have suffered due to the failures of our criminal justice system. Help make history by being part of the movement to #FreeDanielHoltzclaw.
