This Valentine's Day, DANIEL HOLTZCLAW’S WRONGFUL CONVICTION received renewed attention as FORENSIC EXPERTS DR. BRENT TURVEY and MS. SUZANNA RYAN spoke out publicly in a new MICHELLE MALKIN INVESTIGATES episode about the investigative flaws, bias, and DNA analysis errors and falsehoods that led to Daniel’s conviction. WATCH MICHELLE MALKIN’S NEWEST VIDEO in the Daniel Holtzclaw series, provided FOR FREE on YouTube, to learn about the police investigation errors and deceptions that resulted in the imprisonment of Daniel, an innocent man, for crimes he never committed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvpPNTWX4uE Dr. Brent Turvey and Ms. Suzanna Ryan are two of six independent, internationally renowned scientists who released a public report in July 2017 about the scientific issues in the Holtzclaw case. Their report concluded that Daniel Holtzclaw was deprived of his constitutional rights to due process and a fair trial and he deserves a new trial. You can read their full report at www.holtzclawDNAreport.com. Others who speak out in the video about the injustice of Daniel’s conviction are: Exoneration attorney Craig Cooley, retired NYPD detective and forensic expert John Paolucci, Oklahoma LEO Jason Angel, former LEO and investigative discovery expert Ken Tisdel, and exonerees and former LEOs Brian Franklin and Ray Spencer. Michelle Malkin has also published a NEW ARTICLE, "Science, Secrecy and Lies in Oklahoma," highlighting interviews with Dr. Brent Turvey and Ms. Suzanna Ryan about the flawed forensic science and confirmation bias that drove the Holtzclaw investigation: http://michellemalkin.com/2018/02/13/science-secrecy-and-lies-in-oklahoma/ Quoting the article, “Turvey — who worked for government agencies and universities across the world and authored multiple peer-reviewed textbooks on criminal profiling and investigation, forensic criminology and victimology, forensic science, criminal justice ethics and law enforcement corruption — called the Oklahoma City detectives’ approach ‘one of the most biased ways of approaching criminal investigation that (he’d) ever seen.’ “‘You have detectives who have started with the notion that Mr. Holtzclaw is guilty,’ Turvey recounted, ‘searching through as many potential contacts as he’s ever had’ to confirm their narrative. Detectives weren’t interested in pursuing other leads who matched accusers’ descriptions. They were ‘just interested in making their case against Officer Holtzclaw. That’s the definition of confirmation bias.’” DNA analyst and serologist Ms. Suzanna Ryan describes errors made by the forensic analyst in Daniel’s case, Ms. Elaine Taylor. Again quoting the article, “Ryan noted how Taylor ‘incorrectly stated that no male DNA was present in two’ of four DNA samples taken [from the fly of the uniform pants], ‘when in fact there was.’” Michelle Malkin explains that “the reason the error was so grave is that prosecutor Gayland Gieger (who has zero training in forensic science) used Taylor’s false characterization to argue and bolster his own unscientific conclusion that because Holtzclaw’s DNA was not found in the minuscule mixtures of multiple contributors, the DNA could have only gotten there through sexual contact via the teen accuser’s vaginal fluid.” “‘Well, you can’t say that,’ Ryan commented. ‘If you don’t do a test for something, you can’t make a statement like that. … There was absolutely no body fluid identification. […] It’s not scientifically sound.’” Please VIEW AND SHARE Michelle Malkin’s VIDEO AND ARTICLE to help spread awareness that an ever-growing number of people around the world are recognizing DANIEL’S CONVICTION IS AN INJUSTICE and are joining us in our fight to #FreeDanielHoltzclaw.
