With the latest credit agency hack Americans need a free service to lock and unlock their credit. Only the Social Security holder would be able to unlock and lock their credit when they choose to apply for a new loan. This would end most identity theft in the United States and save billions of dollars. This should be a free service required by the Federal Government and provided by the three main credit agencies. Recently a large portion of the population found out that even the credit agencies can not guarantee protection from Hackers.
