After September 16 - continue to demand to release Kagarlitsky!
The Freedom for Kagarlitsky Telegram channel Reports:
Next week in Syktyvkar a court hearing with the participation of Boris Kagarlitsky is to be held. Either he will remain in the pre-trial detention center, or his preventive measure will be changed: he will be placed under house arrest, released on his own recognizance or on surety.
Practice and statistics of Russian "courts" show that the chances of a positive outcome are very low.
But our experience and sense of solidarity tell us that every such trial should be accompanied by a new round of collective action.
Today different actions took place internationally. Rallies and mass pickets took place n:
 Munich: 15:00, Europlatz
 Berlin: 15:00, Brandenburg gate
Bremen: 14:00, Am Markt, Roland statue
Paris: 15:00, Place de la République
Yerevan: 16:00, Russia Square, monument to Myasnikyan
 Haifa: 14:00, Russian Federation Consulate
Actions were also held in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Budva (Montenegro), Tbilisi (Georgia)
The support for Kagarlitsky is growing. One of the longest solidarity articles was published today September 16 in India: https://thewire.in/rights/freedom-for-boris-kagarlitsky-activists-globally-extend-support-to-jailed-russian-intellectual This article ends with the sentence: "A global movement is actively working towards securing Kagarlitsky’s freedom. The ongoing efforts include the organisation of gatherings and protests calling for his release and justice."
Please continue to support the campaign. Share this petition! Support also the petition started by Rabkor, the online media started by Kagarlitsky and others in Russia: https://freeboris.info and follow the campaign on Freedom for Kagarlitsky Telegram channel operated by the Committee of Solidarity with Boris Kagarlitsky.
