Here is Boris Kagarlitsky's last letter to his daughter Ksenia before being transferred to a penal settlement (destination still unknown).
Xusha, my dear, hello!
Today, Russian Post delivered to me an envelope with letters that were written back in Budva in March at the support evening for political prisoners.
Firstly, all these letters contain wonderful praises addressed to you. I'm in awe. You make a very strong impression on the audience. And secondly, I'm not sure if I'll be able to respond to everyone (although I'll try).
Just in case, I'm letting you know about these letters and asking you to mention in your next speech that I've read them all, am very grateful, and wish success to all my correspondents.
Everything is fine with me. It's gotten a bit colder in Moscow, but it seems it will warm up again soon. We have enough food. I've started watching the series "A Guy's Word" on TV.
I'm recording prison stories, corresponding with fellow activists. In short, I'm busy with things.
Please write your news!
Hugs,
Dad
