Thanks again for supporting this cause.

It has now been over a year since Allison Bustillo was detained by ICE and deported.

Allison had no criminal record and was living in the United States under asylum. She came here as a child, built her life here, worked hard, and gave back to her community by caring for the elderly.

She helped raise her younger brothers, including one who is autistic and depends on her every day.

This is a family that did things the right way.

She had protection under the law.

And yet, she was still deported.

For over a year, Allison has been separated from her family, missing moments that no one can ever get back. A hardworking young woman who followed the path she was given is now paying the price for a system that got it wrong.

This is not about politics.

This is about fairness.
This is about accountability.
This is about doing what is right.

According to TRAC Immigration, over 80% of people in ICE detention have no criminal convictions. That means people like Allison, not criminals, are being caught in this system.

And now, we have proof this system makes mistakes.

A recent Washington Post report showed that a woman was unlawfully deported, and a judge ordered that she be allowed to return.

That tells us something important.

When the system gets it wrong, it can and should fix it.

So we ask.

If the government can correct one wrongful deportation, why not Allison’s?

No family should be separated like this when no crime was committed.
No one who followed the rules should be treated like they did not matter.

We are asking Congress to review Allison Bustillo’s case and do what is right.

Your signature helps
