Kids are graduating soon and due to COVID, Frederick county is only allowing two family members to come to the graduation ceremony. It is not fair to the students and their families after all their hard work for the last four years to only allow two individuals to celebrate in person. The cermonies are being held outside in stadiums that could safely accommodate at least three to four family members per student. Although there is the live streaming option, families should also be given the option to go to the stadium and watch in person knowing the risks of COVID and gatherings. Our families have quarantined for the last year and deserve to watch their children graduate in person and for the class of 2021 to receive the full experience.
