No patient, visitor, or staff member should have the added stress of pay parking when attending any hospital or hospice in the province of British Columbia. It is an absolutely disgraceful cash grab forced on the citizens of this province when they’re at their most vulnerable and have zero choice.  Employees should  not be paying their employer for access to their place of work. It amounts to a wage reduction arbitrarily set by the employer. Many hospitals have no reasonable alternative to on site parking.  Health care in Canada is paid for through our already exorbitant taxes.  Parking fees for access to those services should be illegal. I would think that access to health care would be a protected right in Canada, without any impediment or added hardship. Regardless of a citizens income.
