Re-Open Frankston City Motorcycle Park

Re-Open Frankston City Motorcycle Park
The issue
Since 1980, Frankston City Motorcycle Park has been a club that novice riders, kids and juniors can take their motorcycles to learn how to ride in a controlled environment and keep their motorcycles off the streets.
The decision was made to close the park due to the unfortunate death of a young rider in April this year. Whilst this accident was avoidable, closing the track by is not the best solution for the thousands of people that used the venue to participate in their hobby. There are several safety measures that can offer an alternative to closing the motorcycle park.
Frankston City motorcycle park was a great complex for many enthusiasts to ride in a controlled environment. By providing dedicated purpose build facilty, this offers a great alternative to riders thinking of riding their unregistered bikes on public land.
By signing this partition, you can show Frankston City council that this complex was great for the motorcycle community and ensures that Frankston council are providing every opportunity for residents and locals to keep their motorcycles off the streets and out of local parks.
