Help Preserve South Middlebush Scenic Corridor

Last night’s Franklin Zoning Board hearing for Sai Datta Mandir , 583 S. Middlebush Rd was a big disappointment. The attorney for Snyder’s Farm and I were there, but no one else was there to support us. They will take the final vote at their June 2 meeting, and if no one else shows up to support us, it seems like a done deal. The representative for Sai Datta Mandir told us last night the two houses of worship together have a seating capacity of 450 people, and THAT’S RIGHT SMACK IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR AGRICULTURAL LAND ON SOUTH MIDDLEBUSH RD WHERE OUR CROPS ARE BEING GROWN! So because of apathy, the residents of Franklin may soon lose our agricultural land and hence see our food supply jeopardized, at a time when we are already seeing rising food prices and scarcity worldwide! So June 2 will be our last chance to express concerns, hope everyone will show up!
