Franklin Deserves Better: Halt the Harlin PUD Plan
Franklin Deserves Better: Halt the Harlin PUD Plan
The Issue
We, the concerned residents of Franklin, oppose the proposed Harlin Planned Unit Development (PUD) due to its potential to significantly harm our community’s safety, infrastructure, and rural character. The Harlin PUD threatens to overcrowd our roads, strain public services, and increase traffic congestion — all without adequate plans for mitigating the risks to our families and neighborhoods.
Franklin’s infrastructure is not equipped to handle the high-density development Harlin proposes. This project prioritizes profit over the well-being of our town and ignores the voices of the community. We urge city leaders to reject the Harlin PUD and preserve what makes Franklin a safe, livable, and sustainable place to call home.
The PUD proposal includes:
- 242 homes (mix of estate lots, alley-loaded, cottages, townhomes, and condo flats
- 80-key boutique hotel (inn+cottages)
- 217 acres of open space
It is estimated that there will be an anticipated 240-418 additional vehicles on the already congested Columbia Avenue during rush hour.
Join us in standing up for responsible growth. Say NO to Harlin PUD.
