On August 30th, 2021, Pick of the Litter in the South Park Mall, Cleveland, caught on fire due to an incense fire. Although no humans lost their lives, 1 poor dog did. Had the employees had a higher sense of urgency and helped the situation, that dog may have kept it's life.

The news articles on the situation only talk about the employees, even though dozens of bystanders, including myself, dropped what we were doing to help evacuate the pets. The employees, on the other hand, we're not aware of the incense fire starting in the first place, let alone helping as much as the bystanders did.

If we don't do something, these people will claim that it was an 'accident' and will have no repercussions what so ever. Not only this incident has happened. They have also been known to be a part of animal abuse and puppy mills. We need to do something or else these people will still be able to 'take care' of these animals.
