Neighbors and friends,

This is important. Hackensack's municipal election is next week, Tuesday, May 11, and every member of our City Council is running for re-election.

Yes, the same City Council that paid for disgraced Board of Education bigot Frances Cogelja's campaign, and then stood by her after she made disparaging comments about the LGBTQ+ community and refused to denounce racism.

The Labrosse Team with Deputy Mayor Sims could have stood with the 1900+ concerned individuals who joined statewide elected officials in calling for her resignation, but instead, they excused her bigoted comments, with Mayor Labrosse saying, "I understand exactly where she's coming from."

For too long, their silence was complicity. Now they're betting they still won't be held accountable. We cannot reward Labrosse, Sims, or their political allies with four more years to lead our great city. 

Please vote for Leila Amirhamzeh, Clarence "Randy" Glover, Andee Post, Caseen Gaines, and Mary Lopez -- our entire For Hackensack's Future team for City Council on Tuesday, May 11. We are in Column One! Voting is in person and polls are open from 6am-8pm. Let's take this chance to elect a City Council that will value all Hackensack residents.
