Wentworth is a show which provides diversity, unique characters, and acceptance of your race and identity and showcases it well

What Wentworth didn't do well was the presumed final goodbye to transgender woman Maxine Conway in the fifth season (Played by Socratis Otto)

Wentworth ended Maxine's character out of nowhere with little warning and quickly when there was all of her storyline left from Season 4 leading into the following one which needed to be explored. The writers had so much potential for this character only to be written off in less than an episode. Fans have even been told that the script was changed to ensure Maxine didn't have any potential of returning to Wentworth.

Bringing back Maxine will reintroduce transgender awareness and the problems trans people face, cutting Maxine off the show got rid of any transgender diversity in the show and so far we've only had one other trans character (Played by Danielle Alexis) 

Come on Wentworth, Bring Maxine Conway back!
