Like quite a few "The Glades" fans, I actually discovered the show on Netflix, then continued to follow it on A&E. Even today, there are tons of tweets from loyal viewers that don't have cable, but continue to watch the series online. It is clear to all of us that A&E simply doesn't care about its viewers, or at least the 9+ million or so that watched "The Glades" and "Longmire".
For this update, I'd like to present two calls for action:
1) Call your cable, satellite, or other pay TV service provider and ask that they remove A&E from their basic cable lineup. We certainly can't expect any immediate action on this, but it will let them know your dissatisfaction with A&E. Cable channels need to be warned that if they treat viewers like this, there are consequences.
2) Got more oranges and golf balls? Good! Netflix needs to hear from us! Their contact information is below with the specific person we should target. With such a wide ranging audience, Netflix has what it takes to bring our show back and promote it the way it deserves.
