I am an ordinary citizen who wants the Roseanne show back. I am starting this petition in the hope that it may open a greater dialogue that caused the swift action taken today. This show is a ratings winner, it also provides jobs for those in front of and behind the scenes. Many people's lives have been effected by the actions of a single individual. 

This show provided comedic relief and was liked by many people. This is evident by way of the rating numbers and advertising dollars being brought in from the show. People make mistakes. It is my hope that by initiating this petition that another network will take a look at this series and give it a chance and pick it up for it's second season.
