A Genuine Plea To Help Me Get 'Boston' Back

Good evening,

I'm writing you because I'm fighting a very emotional battle right now of losing a family member. Have you ever lost your child or lost your dog? Well... I have. I wanted to take a few moments and explain to you what's going through my head as well as in my heart.

I'm hurting... emotionally. It's literally gut-wrenching. I'm the Founder of a startup organization for animals... but I never would have imagined the hurt that I feel towards losing my beloved dog by someone who has stolen him and taken him from me.

The family has incriminated me and has made me out into a monster. In the courthouse, the mother of the dog-napper ran over to the mediator and shouted, "He's not supposed to be near us... He's been accused of harassment."

Let me explain this a little further... I've been "accused" of "harassment" because my dog has been dog-napped from me... the dog-napper SPECIFICALLY told me to "come get your dog" in written communication –– all I've been trying to do this entire time is GET MY DOG! Instead, I get accused of "harassing communication" because I'm trying to arrange a time to pickup my dog, per the email communication, which specifically states, "come and get him." The police in my hometown blatantly ignores this... along with my paperwork, documentation, microchip information, and all the thousands of pictures that I have, along with $1750 of pet-sitting receipts PROVING that this is MY DOG!

But guess what? I'm stuck right now without my dog. 'Boston' has been everything to me. He is the reason that I started this entire corporation, Boston Made, Incorporated.

'Boston' is my best friend. He is stolen and the police won't do anything about it... specifically, Gordon County Sheriff's Office turns their back on me and ignores me.

As I was at my parents house over the weekend (I flew from Boston to Georgia for my court hearing which was moved to a different county because the thief's mother lied and said that the daughter lived in a different county when in actuality she lived in the same county that the papers were served in to begin with, which caused last week's court case to be postponed yet again due to misleading information), I found a belt of mine that was chewed up by 'Boston'. It brought me to tears and I've been wearing it all weekend, thinking about my child, 'Boston'.

I'm going through emotional distress. I'm being accused of things I've never done, such as harassing communication. This family is making me out to be a monster and has hidden themselves behind the law and is stalling the court system, lying to people, and doing everything in their power to not give me my dog back!

I call on Laura Avery and the Avery family to give me my dog back!

They need to do the right thing! I trusted this family. They went to my dad's church –– and they stole my dog.

I call on you to help me spread the word. Help me get my dog back. I need your support more than ever.

Together, I feel that we can all be a voice. Their actions are disgusting. I forgive them. But I call for the right thing to be done. And I call on law enforcement within my hometown to do the right thing as well.

Anyone with a heart would do it. Unfortunately, there are indeed heartless people in this world.
