In our country there is a problem, in our community there is a problem. Our own President is influencing millions of Americans to kill our planet. 

Part of the reason I am opposing our President’s influence is because I believe we, the American people, share the value of a healthy world. 

The problem that is occurring that is violating this value is allowing our president to promote the use of fossil fuel and encouraging oil and gas exploration and production on federal lands and water.

 Our country says it values global health, yet what is happening goes against this value because it is unleashing toxins which are killing our planet. The fact that this is happening in our country is a problem. The problem matters to me because our planet is dying and if we don’t take care of it, we won’t have a planet for much longer. 

We, the undersigned, ask  you to address this problem by signing this petition and boycott the use of fossil fuels, oil, and gas explorations because it is killing us, our country, and our planet. We respectfully demand the use of fossil fuel to stop because it is damaging our health, our community, and our world. 

This solution will help us live out the idea of common good because everyone on the planet will benefit from a healthy planet to live on. The idea of common good has encouraged me to use my voice to compel our community to change should help compel you to stand with me and make our country a better and healthier place.
