This petition is calling upon Forth Ports to allow Greenpeace vessel Esperanza to dock in the Port of Leith.

International campaign group & charity Greenpeace have been refused permission by Forth Ports to dock their vessel - the  Esperanza - in the Port of Leith this week (Early November).

Greenpeace is shortly to launch a campaign to address plastic pollution in the worlds oceans & seas.  The vessel hopes to dock in the Port of Leith to support plans for a deposit and return scheme for drinks containers in an attempt to cut down on plastic waste.

Forth Ports say that the Port of Leith is full but many people are concerned that the corporation which owns the Port of Leith are simply stonewalling Greenpeace.

Greenpeace campaign to save our world, we should give them every support.
