The bust of Robert E. Lee in Downton Fort Myers needs to be removed. It is a symbol of hate and racism that makes many people extremely uncomfortable and disgusted. Robert E Lee was a confederate general and fought to keep slavery in America. The bust needs to be removed immediately. We should stop glorifying hatred in America. The bust should be replaced with a symbol of the BLM movement. The link below has information on why Robert E.
