It’s absolutely heartbreaking that Fort Mill is the only school district in the area not allowing parents to be at graduation. Please Fort Mill we are begging you to just allow two guests per graduate. And if two is too many, at least allow one guest per graduate. I’ve personally never missed a field trip, a classroom holiday party, a school dance, school festival, field day etc. but it is absolutely devastating that the first thing I can’t be there for is graduation. PLEASE PLEASE Fort Mill reconsider your decision. We will happily sit 6 feet apart and wear masks. These seniors’ year has already been difficult enough, let’s not make it worse. South Carolina is open and we should be allowed to be there, we can NEVER get this day back.
