Over the last several years I have noticed a lack of caring and compassion in regards to Animal Control in Fort Dodge. I have personally witnessed multiple situations where an animal was neglected and getting them help felt next to impossible. Most recently, I was a part of a team attempting to rescue three dogs who were abandoned in a home. We didn't receive any support from animal control and we were left to handle the situation alone. I would love to see our city invest our money and our resources into improving the methods in which animals are supported and taken care of.
