Our therapy dog is being held at the animal shelter and not being released back to us, he is a huge part of our family, our wellness as a family is dependent on our wholeness as a family and without our dog we don't feel good. "Prince Charles aka Charlie Bucket aka Bubbas" my first baby, was surrendered for a a shelter stay back in Augest 2017, our family was in turmoil and had to have an emergency stay at the local homeless shelter, 2 weeks into our stay, the hospitality house's dog policy changed, we could have Charlie back with us, but the shelter refused returning him until he was better medically. Charlie is a very high matenience dog, gluten free, dermatitis prone since living in fort bragg, but I have owned this dog for 9 years, I know his issues I know how to care for him  wholistically and herbal natural care, and now that the shelter has diagnosed him more I have more knowledge of how to care for him with high cost pharmaceuticals as well. They have not released him back to us yet for the price of his pharmaceutical matenience although we are no longer in turmoil and stable housed for almost a year now and can easily manage to take care of Charlie again. We are heartbroken, Charlie even had heart murmurs in care too since then, so I know he is heartbroken too, we need our dog back. My family is reliant on him to be Whole again, no matter how much work he takes.
