We want to stop FCS from implementing NetRef, a program that will allow for the school to monitor a student's screen and browser history. This program would violate the student's right to privacy, as well as possibly interfere with the student body's ability to research subjects deemed "unnecessary" for classwork. The way the pictochart worded what FCS has access to made it sound like only the internet searches and history, but the broadness of what they can't monitor leaves questions to be answered. Thus, in order to persevere our rights to our own privacy, we must sign this petition.
