Follow CDC guidelines in Schools at Forsyth County GA
The Issue
On 20th July 2021, Forsyth County Schools dropped COVID-19 requirements, guidelines for 2021-22 school year.
Going forward, face masks will not be required for students or staff member. Social distancing may not be possible.
Parents will be welcomed into schools to eat lunch with their kids bringing back visitors and trips, the district plans to significantly cut back its COVID-19 protocols,
children under 12 who are not vaccinated will be exposed to danger.
Cuts to FCS guidelines come despite a rise in cases in Georgia and nationally due to the more contagious Delta variant of COVID-19.
We request forsyth county education board to implement CDC guidelines , masks and hygiene protocol to keep school and our children safe.
