The beautiful, rolling hills, deep, forested valleys, and breathtaking sunsets along FM 2757 in Forney, Texas, are some of the most wonderful views around. But all that - and the sights it boasts - is in trouble. As more and more people flock to our area, less and less farmland and natural habitats are available due to increasing neighborhoods and commercial sites. All of the majestic land on FM 2757 is planned to be developed. Not only will this deprive us of our beloved valley views and cause increased pollution, but it will cause thousands of individual animals to lose their home.

The trees that birds nest in will be cut down. The bushes and thickets that rabbits shelter in will be destroyed. The territory that bobcats call home will be gone. The development of this area will result in the death or relocation of countless creatures - and without their natural habitat, more and more will venture into the existing town and cause problems for humans and animals alike. If the building plan goes through, traffic will increase dramatically, resulting in air pollution and causing all of us to become extremely frustrated.

We cannot allow this land to be taken - not from us, and not from the creatures. By letting construction crews invade the habitats and develop the area, the stunning views will be gone, traffic will change for the worse, and Forney's wildlife species will be in danger. Please take a stand to not only protect what we today love, but the world that future generations will call home.
