Dear KMC,

 

We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing to formally lodge a complaint against HOA at large member, a member of the HOA board, for inappropriate conduct and misuse of power within our homeowner's association.

 

We wish to bring to your attention the following concerns:

 

1. Unauthorized Disclosure of Confidential Financial Records:

We have learned that HOA at large member, has discussed confidential financial records pertaining to homeowners' HOA dues and delinquency statuses with individuals outside the board without proper authorization. Such actions not only infringe upon our privacy rights but also breach the trust we place in board members to handle our financial affairs responsibly.

 

2. Inappropriate Use of Social Media:

HOA at large member, has utilized neighborhood social media platforms is an administrator of to advance her personal objectives rather than using them as open forums for our community. Many neighbors and families have been excluded from HOA-sanctioned events due to their posts being blocked, which compromises transparency and open communication within our community.

 

 

3. False Attacks and Defamation on Social Media:

Additionally, HOA at large member has used private social media to falsely attack and defame members of our community with baseless accusations while also boasting about status as an HOA board member. Such behavior is detrimental to the harmony and reputation of our community.

 

4. Misappropriation of HOA Funds:

We have evidence indicating that HOA at large member has misappropriated HOA funds to purchase items (large projector screen)which is to be used for neighborhood movies. It is more often being used primarily for  personal use rather than for the benefit of the community. We will provide supporting photographs to substantiate this claim.

 

Given the gravity of these allegations, we respectfully request that the HOA board initiate an investigation into these matters and take appropriate action to address them. We believe that HOA at large member behavior, coupled with current position of authority, undermines the well-being and unity of our community.

 

As concerned homeowners (please refer to the attached petition list), we petition for the immediate removal of HOA at large member from the HOA board. We believe this action is necessary to restore trust, maintain transparency, and uphold the best interests of our community.

 

We request that this complaint be treated with the utmost seriousness and respect.
We are prepared to provide any additional information, engage in open discussions, or submit any evidence that may be required for a thorough investigation.
