Das Problem
As someone who loves foxes and wants to advocate for them, I urge you to support this petition. Foxes should not be killed by hunters. These adorable creatures have the ability to adapt and tailor their brood to the number of foxes needed. It is common knowledge that foxes are hunted because they hunt hares, but paradoxically these hares are also pursued by hunters. This is a cycle that needs to be broken.
A growing body of scientific research indicates that predators play important roles in their ecosystems and that removing them can have significant and often unexpected consequences (Source: Journal of Ecology and Evolution). This includes allowing other species, including many that are harmful to humans, to thrive in the absence of natural predators.
The time has come to rethink our views on predators, and foxes in particular. They are not our enemies, but valuable members of our biological community. Please sign this petition and demand an end to fox hunting.
